Receiving Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Receiving Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving process and ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of goods. The Receiving Lead will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receiving process, including unloading trucks, inspecting shipments, and verifying quantities
- Ensure all received goods are properly labeled and stored in designated locations
- Maintain accurate records of received items, including item descriptions, quantities, and storage locations
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received goods
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any potential issues
- Train and mentor new team members on receiving procedures and best practices
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track inventory
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills, experience with inventory management systems preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
