Summary:

Our UX Research team is designing for the global diversity of human needs, which requires us to deeply understand the behaviors of the people behind them. Our researchers tackle some of the most complex challenges to gain deeper insights into how people interact with each other and the world around them, and work collaboratively to contribute new ideas to products that impact the experiences of billions of people on a global scale.We use a variety of both qualitative and quantitative methods to accomplish our goals. Required Skills:

Reality Labs UX Research Lead - Youth & Integrity Responsibilities:

1. Act as a thought leader in the domain of research, while advocating for the people who could use our products

2. Foster a network of UXRs doing relevant work across the org - providing feedback and direction on research plans, upholding the highest quality bar for execution, and pulling together insights into a strategic narrative

3. Effectively manage and prioritize research plans through ambiguous and fast-changing environments, align and efficiently execute critical insights and work with a large group of stakeholders

4. Work cross-functionally with both traditional and non-traditional UXR partners such as design, product management, content design, engineering, marketing, policy, and legal

5. Communicate and illustrate insights in compelling and creative ways that articulate a strong POV to all levels of audiences, including leadership

6. Ability to work independently, proactively, and autonomously

7. Work closely with product and business teams, centrally and within the org, to identify research topics

8. identify where this work should live and who should take it on

9. Generate insights and narratives that will influence long term organizational and company strategy in the relevant area

Minimum Qualifications:

10. Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree and 16+ years relevant experience, or a PhD and 12+ years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes experience within user experience, Human Computer Interaction, an applied research setting or a product research and development setting.

11. Experience executing highly rigorous, hands-on, primary research

12. Experience translating research findings into strategic narratives

13. Experience guiding, mentoring, and collaborating with other Researchers to level up impact and quality

14. Demonstrated experience representing research in leadership settings with strong executive presence and knowledge to influence to action

15. Experience collaborating with non-traditional research partners such as legal and policy

16. Experience working on integrity-related topics

17. Experience working in a 0-to-1 space on new technology and early stage product development

Public Compensation:

$229,000/year to $295,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
