Job Description
A Cath Lab Manager will ensure the availability and knowledge of a full range of high quality outpatient cardiovascular procedures. As well as participating in the cost-effective management of the facility. The Cath Lab Manager is a fully onsite role.
Primary accountabilities:
- Works to meet or exceed all performance measurements set out by AHCA and AHA standards.
- Overseas daily operations in the Cath Lab and pre/post procedure area, manages budget, payroll and facilitates conflict resolution when appropriate.
- performs other work related duties as assigned by the director/ president.
- Manages all Cath Lab associates, ensuring that staff are providing quality, accurate work and utilizing effective time management. in doing so is responsible for the supervision of all staff related orientation, on-going education and recommendations related to process of workflow and continuous quality improvement.
- Participates in the continued review/ development of policies and procedures in the facility.
- Ensures unit compliance with guidelines of accrediting and regulatory agencies, standards of acre and practice, and organizing policies, and organizing policies and procedures.
- Assure that all equipment is operational and safe.
- Responsible for patient satisfaction as evidence by positive patient feedback and post procedure "touch point call"
- Conducts monthly staff meetings with quality assurance issues addressed. minutes of meetings kept and made available to all staff not in attendance.
