Radiology Qualifications Include:

Education & Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
• Associate's Degree is preferred.  (CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.)
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) is required.

CT Qualifications Include Education plus:

Experience

• (1) year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT-CT required or no experience w/ARRT-CT is required.

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R upon hire required And
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT (w/no radiology technician exp) upon hire required Or
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT (w/1 year radiology technician exp) 12 months required And
• CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Either by the TDH or TMB) upon hire required

MRI Radiographer Qualifications include Education plus:

Experience

• (1) year medical imaging experience is required.
• (1) year MRI experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR upon hire required Or
• ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire required Or
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R upon hire required Or
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT upon hire required Or
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists N upon hire required Or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board CNMT upon hire required And
• CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT upon hire required And
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT 12 months required Or
• ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT 12 months required
• CT alongside MRI is preferred

Radiographer Qualifications include Education plus: 

Experience

• (1) year radiologic technologist experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Either by the TDH or TMB) required upon hire And
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in 6 months required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
