The Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center at Cabell Huntington Hospital, part of Mountain Health Network and affiliated with the Marshall University, Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, seeks a highly experienced and dynamic leader, to serve as Chief/Charge radiation therapist in a growing comprehensive cancer program.
The Chief/Charge therapist provides leadership and support to a team of excellent radiation therapists, manages schedules, and has oversight of treatments and simulations conducted by the team.
Participating in patient set-ups required with both pediatric and adult patient protocols, the Chief/Charge therapist troubleshoots and assists with complex patient treatments.
Good communication, motivation and supervisory skills are required. Creativity and enthusiasm working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide world-class patient care makes the perfect candidate.
The Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center (ECCC) is the region’s only comprehensive cancer program. A CoC and ACR accredited facility, the ECCC has experienced rapid growth and is poised to become a destination for advanced cancer care in West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Huntington, West Virginia is home to Marshall University and has a thriving “river town” community- rich with arts, entertainment, and southern hospitality. Huntington has a small town feel with many amenities of larger areas. Travel to Huntington is easy via Interstate 64 or by air to Huntington Tristate Airport (HTS), just minutes from downtown Huntington and Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Requirements
- Junior College/Technical School required.
- Registered in Radiation Therapy by the ARRT required.
- Licensed as required by State of West Virginia
- Must have clinical background in radiation therapy and worked at least 2 years as a radiation therapist.
