Looking for the right person to oversee the strategic growth and direction of their quality department, a Cedar Valley manufacturer is adding a Quality Manager to their team. Although an established program, they are looking for someone to come in and make their mark on the Quality Department, helping to lead others and shape the future of the department. Responsibilities:
- Oversee entire direction of quality department and set strategic initiatives
- Research and invest in new technologies and procedures aimed at improving the efficiency of the quality process
- Ensure strict quality standards are maintained and improved upon
- Set and enact an annual budget, accounting for cap improvement projects, expenses, and other costs
- Develop department culture and foster an environment of growth
- Assist in quality audits and uphold ISO 9001 standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a quality capacity
- Experience managing a Quality Assurance program (ISO)
- Management experience is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills
