Seeking a Quality Engineer in Longwood, FL - Phenomenal Direct Hire Opportunity with a rapidly growing company that has made its mark in the Aerospace Industry! It is imperative that you have strong internal and external auditing experience (AS9100 and ISO9001) to be considered for this role.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000/K
Full-time: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (must be flexible)
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the Quality Management System:
- Assurance that documentation and policy meets the standards
- Assurance that the execution of the teams meets the documentation
- Manage traceability to standards
Responsible for the following audits:
- ISO 9001
- AS9100
- Customer audits
- Vendor audits
- Internal audits
Responsibilities for audits shall include:
- Incoming survey assessment and preparation
- Collection organization of relevant documentation
- Prepare teams for customer interaction
- Manage change requirements for findings
- Assure execution against findings
- Manage customer throughout process
- Assure expedient closure of audit action items
Responsible for regulatory compliance:
- Contract Review
- First Article Inspections
- Customer / Vendor Issue Resolutions
- Customer Drawing Review
- Manage Approved Vendor List
- Review Certificates of Compliance
- Manage Export control requirements
- Manage controlled unclassified information dissemination
- Audit and manage customer contract revisions
Product Test and Measurement:
- Verify test performance
- Validate test process
- Verify CMM execution and data
- Coordinate Tooling and measurement methods with engineering
Lead the company through NADCAP certification
Support and Team with the quality manager responsible for operations
