The Lockheed Martin Space Strategic Quality Quality Engineer (QE) will support cross-functionally across the business to meet near and long-term enterprise-wide needs. Additional duties will include support of 1LMX cross-BA initiatives and projects, as well as strategic initiatives throughout the Space Quality organization.
The Quality Engineer Selected For This Position Will
- Develop, apply, and maintain quality systems in support of material processing and mission needs to ensure delivery of capabilities for operational deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place;
- Audit quality systems for deficiencies and drive corrective actions, as required
- Ensure that corrective measures meet appropriate technical standards and associated documentation is compliant with requirements
- Work directly alongside internal and external customers in support of project completion
