Job Summary and Qualifications- You will be responsible for the identification, investigation, analysis and evaluation of risks and the selection of the most advantageous method of correcting, reducing or eliminating identifiable risk.
- You must be comfortable and skilled at working with physicians, health care providers and other stakeholders in the organization. Capable of gaining immediate credibility with individuals through experience, presentation, communication skills, empathy and compassion.
- You will be working with basic statistics and statistical analysis methodologies. Knowledge of PC based computer software, i.e. Word, Excel, Access and/or similar systems preferred.
- You will work closely with the Quality Department with completion of audits, chart reviews, metric evaluations, performance improvement and any other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Baccalaureate degree (healthcare-related preferred), MSN, MHA, MBA, or MHSA preferred, CPHRM strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years health care experience (clinical experience preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical risk management preferred
- Supervisory and/or management experience preferred.
