Job Summary
Assist the QAM and QAE in a variety of tasks as it relates to the Quality Department and performs Receiving and Final audit inspections to ensure product quality of received components and finished parts ready for shipment.
Job Duties
- Perform GR&R studies and dimensional layouts.
- Perform SPC data collection and data entry, clean tests, gage calibrations, gage validations, final audits and receiving audits.
- Create/maintain job books.
- Follow QMS procedures.
- Accurately documents audits via Plex and written documents.
- Informs Production Supervisors and Quality Department of all quality related issues found in a timely manner.
- Issue NCMR for any suspected non-conforming parts, ensure they are contained properly, and classified in Plex as appropriate.
- Assist machine operators with part specifications, gages and any other related quality concern.
- Use all company measurement tools for contracer, roundness, ID, OD, height, length, CMM part dimensions to perform part quality checks as needed and required.
- Report/order needed lab supplies and maintain proper inventory levels.
- Participate in proactive team efforts and share knowledge/skill to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Support and comply with all Master Automatic company/safety standards and standard operating procedures. Report all unsafe activities/conditions to Management.

•Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
•Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 to 4 years of prior quality auditor experience.
