What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for actively testing in a manual test environment
- Provide input for the Test Plan
- Identify Risks, analyze and report to Sr QA Analyst and/or QA Lead accordingly
- Review requirements, and functional design specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables; ensure that the test coverage plans are created and expectations are tested
- Project timeline awareness to deadlines and deliverables; ensure the ability to find defects and bugs quickly while staying within scope and on schedule
- Work closely with development engineers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify, report and troubleshoot defects; verify problem fixes in a detailed, efficient and timely manner
- Perform testing on various software, data environments and reporting systems
- Isolate, replicate and report defects and verify defect fixes
- Take ownership of the product quality and validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
- 1+ year(s) of Quality Assurance experience including Quality Assurance methodologies and SDLC
- Demonstrated knowledge in creating test cases and documentation
- Must be positive, detail oriented, analytical, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment with excellent follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication (written and verbal); ensure ability to write clear and concise test plans and test cases
- Ability to think abstract; to ensure ability to not conform to the norm, as norms do not find bugs quickly
- Maintaining a physical lab is included in the day-to-day responsibilities for this position. This could include the ability to physically move terminals that weigh approx. 25lbs, PC imaging, setting up physical peripherals and basic networking.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field
- Certification in Software Quality Assurance
- Experience with Point-of-Sale testing and lab testing & setup
- Experience using SQL, database management systems, key data technologies.

- This position will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software/products that are used in our Theatres. The QA Analyst II is responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with POS software before the product or release is launch. Duties include identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results, and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues.
