We currently have numerous engineering scrum teams who work on different functionalities that eventually converge to deliver a project successfully. With mid to large scale projects, the convergence and validation of quality can be and has been challenging. We are building a small tight knit team purely dedicated towards partner launches.
In this role as a hands-on QA Lead you will partner with various scrum team software quality engineers, lead product owner and project manager. You will be the primary driver for a successful convergence of code, executing a suite of integration tests geared towards critical use cases and running through demos with Product Owners and Engineering leads. You will also work on suggesting and improving the quality of automated tests which span across various teams.

What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with PMO to gain a clear understanding of the project requirements
- Collaborate with POs, and various scrum teams to define UAT Test plans and strategy
- Create required test data by working with different teams
- Support the execution of the UAT test strategy, plans, processes and procedures
- Execute the automated regression suites on the integration environments and report on anomalies.
- Create and maintain automation suites and enhance scripts where appropriate
- Participate in weekly/biweekly project sync ups and summarize testing results
- Document and coordinate load testing requirements and load test execution
- Proficient in bug tracking software such as Jira
- Good understanding of object oriented programming
- 6+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance
- 2+ years experience managing UAT Testing activities
- Experience with at least one programming language Java and/or Python
- Experience with open source technologies like Selenium, JMeter, Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Experience with the release processes
- Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Load and Performance testing

(Colorado Only) Pursuant to applicable law, SquareTrade estimates the possible base salary for this role, if hired in Colorado, to be within the following range: $107, 599 - $143,514K. It is also eligible for bonus.
