Purchasing Assistant

• Update Work Orders and Purchase Orders as needed.
• Maintain historical records of documents.
• Update reports as required.
• Maintain building/material specifications.
• Respond to vendor inquiries - research and correct discrepancies.
• Coordinate with accounting on managing and processing invoices.
• Assist with other projects as assigned.

• High school diploma required.
• Possess a strong work ethic and a mission driven mindset.
• Customer Service oriented with effective communication skills, both written and oral - Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
• Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail skills, professional attitude, reliable, and self-starter.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Possess strong organizational, time management, and data entry skills.
• Possess excellent reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
• Purchasing background not a requirement but valued.
