JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells to meet quality standards
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, and vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
• Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris
• Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests

• Restrooms must be inspected once per hour to assure they remain neat and clean
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed
• Greets guests in a warm and authentic fashion
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally

Location Description

The Lumen is a mid-century retreat located directly across from Southern Methodist University in Dallas' Highland Park neighborhood. The hotel is two blocks west of I-75/Central Expressway and a few short miles to the Dallas North Tollway. The Lumen boasts a guests-only poolside scene, four-star restaurant The Front Room Tavern, free Wi-Fi, work out facility and enough indoor and outdoor event space to host a graduation party, game-day festivities, cocktail receptions, weddings and much more.
