Job Description
This position is located on Fort Wainwright in the city of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Serves in the Public Affairs Office with responsibility for researching, writing, and disseminating information and producing appropriate and varied communication products for both internal and external publics.

- Serves as a spokesperson to local, regional, and national print and broadcast news media representatives on Fort Wainwright's programs and activities, and their impact on various public and private activities.
- Advises staff on public information/public relations matters, ensuring the advice is based on sound, logical public relations theory and consistent with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
- Products and services cover a wide variety of subjects in support of Fort Wainwright missions and Public Affairs communication goals/objectives during daily operations and at times of crisis/emergency.
