Property Manager Assistant

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to become a part of our team! You will help facilitate assisting our tenants and arranging maintenance of properties in southern MA and RI.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with tenants regarding rent collection, maintenance repairs or inspections etc.
• Investigate and resolve tenant complaints in a timely fashion
• Ensure all work orders and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
• Enforce property / lease rules and regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve properties to increase return on investment
• Weekend availability required for urgent situations
• 25- 30 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Experience or strong interest in property management or other related fields, training will be provided
• Familiarity with rental leases and organizing documentation
• Ability to build rapport with tenants and communicate in various formats (email, written and verbal)
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks
• Ability to record information in various formats (written and on computer based software)
• Use of personal transportation to travel to properties, as needed
• Interest in obtaining a real estate license or growing their career in the industry, a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
