We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Portland, Oregon (US-OR), United States (US).
The Project Manager will plan, direct, coordinate, and lead activities for State of Oregon projects, primarily independent Quality Management Services (iQMS) projects. In this role, the Project Manager will prepare attend meetings, review State and Project artifacts, prepare project deliverables. Project deliverables will include (but not be limited to) iQMS periodic/quarterly status reports, quality control reviews, risk reports, and project plans.
The Project Manager will collaborate with other Oregon team members, including members of the iQMS team, and work closely with them on a daily basis. The Project Manager will ensure the business needs and requirements of the contract are met. A good eye for detail and quality is necessary for the job.
The Oregon iQMS team is very experienced and will work closely with the new Project Manager to ensure they get "up to speed" and understand the tools and processes of the job. Other responsibilities of the Project Manager include: Review and understand requirements of the contract(s) Attend meetings with the State (multiple times per week) Facilitate meetings, including project update meetings as well as lessons learned sessions Conduct periodic interviews of customers Manage client relationship and expectationsincluding working regularly with key client leadership Prepare quality checklists and conduct quality control reviews Identify and document project risks Basic Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of project management experience with large, complex public sector information technology implementation projects Undergraduate degree or 4 years additional relevant experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Preferred Skills 2+ years Oregon iQMS project experience (or 2+ years IV&V / Quality Assurance project experience) 3+ years in a role on a Project Management Office For Colorado Candidates In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensationfor roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this roleis $83,000 - 135,000.
Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual worklocation, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
