DRB Systems is a growing and vibrant software company in need of a Project Manager III.
DRB Systems ("DRB") is the leading provider of technology-enabled devices and software solutions to the North American car wash industry. The Project Manager III is responsible for running multiple projects supporting DRB product line. Projects will include software development with hardware integration and manufacturing scope. Teams will be comprised of onsite and remote personnel.
What will our Project Manager I do?
- Create and maintain short and long-term plans,
- Strong capability in software development/SDLC and managing software engineering deliveries,
- Develop estimates and resource plans,
- Monitor budget-to-spend and be able to address variances,
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives,
- Set milestone targets and track progress,
- Adjusting schedules and targets as needs change,
- Managing change requests, rebaselining project plans and communicating impact(s)
- Assess team performance and recommend areas of change,
- Communicate with stakeholders and executives on project status.
Projects run using Agile methods with 2-week iterations. The Project Manager will participate in Agile ceremonies and lead the team to delivering upon commitments within the negotiated schedule. The Project Manager will facilitate multiple cross-functional team meetings. The Project Manager will brief stakeholders, leadership team and representatives from across DRB. The Project Manager may be required to participate in User Story and Acceptance Criteria writing.
The right candidate will have:
- 4 -8 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and professional experience;
- Majority of professional experience must reflect Project Management experience and with managing software development teams;
- Experience with software development lifecycles, notably with Agile;
- Experience in managing work in DevOps or Jira (or equivalent);
- Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP, Prince);
- Confident presentation skills;
- Ability to work with remote teams.
