Job Description
Our company is seeking a Project Controls Specialist/Analyst/Administrator to track project performance during our capital projects and support project and Account Managers. In this intermediate managerial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the project stays on track, on schedule, and on budget as well as client required project reports. You will collaborate with all parties associated with the project to ensure it goes according to plan, while also working on several other projects simultaneously. Our ideal candidate has experience with cost analysis, budget management, accrual accounting, and resource management. Proficiency in relevant software programs is also required.
Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions

- Ensure various elements of the project adhere to the plan.
- Work with both project managers and employees assigned to the project.
- Facilitate planning meetings.
- Create and update schedules for each project you monitor.
- Communicate progress updates through reports.
- Preparing client cost reporting forecast.
- Cash flow development and reporting.
- Monitor commitments, incurred and actual costs.
- Performing cost variance analysis.
- Earned value management reporting.
- Supporting estimate and budget development.
- Performing ad-hoc project analysis and support.
- Managing databases and generating reports.
- Update monthly project dashboard report for clients.
- Track KPS’s for client projects.
- Track project and client submittal documents.
- Generate action and decision logs and assure compliance.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (commerce, engineering, or similar).
- Several years of experience in supporting and managing projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel, MS Access, and SharePoint software programs. Procore is a plus.
- Experience making presentations and creating reports.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
