Position Summary:

Lead the Technology organization's development and implementation of best practices, standards, and guidelines in the effective use of Clarity capabilities - currently focused on Time Tracking, Resource Management and Financial Management and Jira capabilities - for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Drive strategic direction and decision making in the use of Clarity and Jira including partnering with key stakeholders to identify the enterprise ecosystem of Clarity, Jira, and Financial tooling for project and financial management workflows, methodology, and reporting.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Project and Work Management Too Practice Lead will report to the VP of Global Strategy, Planning and Transformation Office
Provide visionary leadership in the use of Clarity PPM and Jira standards and best practices that enable the Technology organization to have standard and consistent approach to Time Tracking, Resource Management, Project Financials, Project and Work Management workflows and tracking including measurements of utilization and productivity.
Lead two core cross functional area teams; one responsible for Clarity standards and best practices and the second for Jira standards and best practices, both through identification, development, assessment impact, communication, change management, training, and compliance monitoring of the standards.
Drive implementation of internal processes coupled with use of Clarity and Jira functionality to achieve standards and best practices that result in operating efficiencies and consistent project financial reporting, resource utilization, work management and productivity data.
Sponsor and guide two Task Force teams - one for Clarity and one for Jira - in place to monitor compliance and drive compliance to full and correct adoption for the respective tool and related internal processes.
Partner with Financial tooling sponsors to ensure an efficient eco system of Clarity, Jira, and Financial tools which provide project/work management, effort/time tracking, operational efficiency and productivity tracking and reporting, as well as project financials. The eco system ultimately should provide a clear delineation of which tools are used for what purposes by which roles that minimizes duplication of data entry.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive knowledge of Clarity PPM's and Jira's capabilities inclusive of demonstrated experience implementing internal processes that support the standard use of each tool.
Strong communication skills demonstrating the ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner
Ability to lead and guide others that report into a different tower or management team
Demonstrated successful experience in change management
Problem Solving:
Demonstrated experience of implementing standards and best practices in a global organization with disparate requirements and reporting obligations.
Guidance:
Demonstrated ability to work with a cross functional team and to influence team members and Executives in order to drive consistent use across the enterprise.
Relationships:
Demonstration of earning credibility and trust in a leadership position.
Experience:
Clarity and Jira leadership position(s) for at least 3 years focused on implementation of Clarity and Jira capabilities and reporting.
Experience working with cross functional teams as well as Executive leadership.
