POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss’ Project Accountant provides comprehensive financial support for the Solar Division Project Management Teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes multiple staff expenses and credit card statements
- Serves as a liaison for Operations and Human Resources
- Provide support to Project Administrators in the recruitment process
- Daily processing of invoices
- Process hourly and salary payroll on a weekly and biweekly pay schedule
- Manage insurance compliance
- Monitor, manage and maintain all project financials
- Process change orders, contracts, release of liens and subcontractor payment applications
- Occasional travel to job sites as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years office experience at a General Contractor and/or within the construction management industry
- Strong communication skills; with a customer service focus towards the field project teams
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat proficiency required
- Construction financial management software familiarity such as CMIC is helpful
- Experience with Timeclock Plus, Ebix, Corpay, Kofax, or Imagetrust is preferred
- Experience with AIA documents preferred
- Working knowledge of budgets, cost codes, and construction cost accounting
