AHF is seeking a full-time regular Program Managers to support the Condom Nation program. This position is based in Atlanta, GA in our Public Health Divison. The salary is based on experience.
- Manages and coordinates Condom Nation tour events. Responsible for the monitoring of all sites with regards to local regulations and reporting requirements. Responsible for the development of community partnerships to provide condom distribution events combined with mobile HIV testing in areas with less access to service and high rates of HIV and STDs.
- Works with the Deputy Director of Public Health to create and implement an efficient domestic condom distribution program including the Condom Nation tour and static condom distribution sites as well as international locations supported by AHF.
- Responsible for reporting requirements related to budget and expenditure oversight for staff and contractor activities for all aspects of the Condom Nation Tour and associated static condom distribution campaigns. Works with the Deputy Director of Public Health to ensure that expenditures remain within budget targets and conform to AHF fiscal standards.
- Monitors programmatic progress towards distribution and event goals for the tour and condom distribution programs and makes additions and/or changes in order to facilitate positive programmatic progress as required.
- Ensures the quality of mobile testing services provided by non-AHF community partners as well as the integrity of collected data. Ensures that services are provided within all applicable standards of care and regulatory guidelines according to State and County jurisdictions; maintains up to date knowledge on HIV testing and treatment protocols.
- Reports regularly to the Deputy Director of Public Health regarding scope of work, staff issues, services offered and program development with a focus on solutions to challenges and opportunities for new condom distribution or community partner relationships. Facilitates introduction opportunities for AHF expansion or community awareness of AHF business lines to new potential partners through AHF Business Development.
- Designs and implements efficient protocols with regard to the Condom Nation tour and distribution program to meet the objectives and expansion goals of condom distribution, community outreach and advocacy efforts of the Condom Nation programs with a focus on tracking and reporting on actuals of service units and publicity-based non-traditional ROI.
- Assumes responsibility for creating and maintaining positive on-line relationships to expand awareness of the Condom Nation brand both domestically and internationally.
- Responsible for staff scheduling, arranging testing venues and organizing the operations of the condom distribution programs with community partners and available AHF staff.
- Monitors all events and activities for instances of potential liability and ensures that operations are conducted in the safest possible manner at all times in order to limit exposure and protect the assets and positive reputation of AHF at all times.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with community partners as well as other community leaders for the Condom Nation tour with a focus on collaboration to support the ongoing grassroots advocacy strategies of AHF.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer/Software Skills & AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office Word Processing software.
Other Skills & Abilities/QualificationsMust be able to travel 75% of the time.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Must have at least one year of experience as an HIV Testing Counselor.
Must have at least one year of supervisory experience.
Certificates, Licenses and RegistrationsMust have a valid drivers license and proof of liability insurance.
Must have a valid passport for international travel.
