Job Description
HII has an opportunity available for a Program Manager - 1 who will be focused on a facility being assembled that will become the U.S. Army's Additive Manufacturing Commercialization Center (AMCC). The PM will work closely with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Ground Vehicle Materials Engineering (GVME) Division as Additive Manufacturing equipment is identified, procured, and installed in the facility.
The ideal candidate will have an active secret security clearance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and scheduling facility resources.
- Chair work progress meetings and assign subcommittee responsibilities.
- Track taskers and oversee outstanding actions.
- Once the AMCC is operating the PM role will expand to include managing new project requests and rolling up costs and schedules for projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing facilities operations environment.
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of personnel and to direct and assign initiatives.
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Additive Manufacturing
The target salary for this role is $100k to $110k.

- May be required to visit job site in an industrial environment.
