Production/Utility Operator - New Castle, DE
Pay:$18-$19/hour
a. Must have:
i. Machine Operator experience
ii. Plastics experience a plus
iii. Willing to work rotating shifts.

* Meet performance standard for safety, production, and quality
* Provide & promote a positive & cooperative work environment
* Minimize waste and promote high production yields on the production line
* Proper completion of production records & data entry
* Ensure cGMP & ISO standards are met
* Assist in maintaining & troubleshooting equipment
* Identify and report to any supervisor, initiatives that can increase the safety of the facility,
increase productivity, increase quality, reduce waste, and promote versatility
* All other duties as assigned by your supervisor
* Fill out forklift inspection at beginning of shift daily.
* Create a shift log daily
* Shadow their trainer on how to:
* Take the rolls off the tree
* Clean the rolls
* Place the rolls in order on the belt
* Weigh each roll
* Print labels
* Apply the labels to the rolls
* Wrap the rolls with plastic (black or clear depending on material type)
* Insert core plugs
* Package the rolls on a pallet according to customer specification
* Stretch wrap pallet
* Print pallet label
* Place pallet in stage area
* After 5-6 hours of shadowing, they will be required to perform the job with the trainer
* After 2-3 days of training, forklift training will be completed, then knives, cutting gloves and tape
measures will be given out
* High School Diploma or GED
* Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary
* Good mathematical skills (ability to read a ruler)
* Must be able to wear protective gear during entire shift (hair/beard net, eye and head protection)
* Ability to prioritize & adapt to changing priorities
* Flexibility to work overtime when required
* Ability to work 24/7 rotating shift is a MUST (8 or 12 hour shift options)
1. *Monday thru Friday 8 hr rotating shift:
First 4 weeks: 6am-2pm.
Next 4 weeks: 2pm-10pm
Next week: 10pm-6am.

2. *7/24 12-hour shift:
6am - 6pm Saturday Sunday Monday
Off Tuesday Wednesday
6pm - 6am Thursday Friday
Off Saturday Sunday Monday
6am-6pm Tuesday Wednesday
Off Thursday Friday
