Responsibilities
Primary Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions but are not limited to:
- Areas of responsibility will be Production Control clerk and shipping lead.
- Maintain a positive; professional attitude & team harmony
- Must be able to comprehend and interpret written and verbal instructions, requests, labels, records, etc. Must be able to read write and perform basic shop math.
- Perform all needed activities to support Supply Chain in Syracuse including but not limited to: purchase orders, contact with suppliers, quotes, 1093 and Milestone system, prints.
- Production control duties include but are not limited to: Physical inventory, inventory transaction and investigations, production and scrap reporting.
- Monthly reporting on supply chain metrics
- Assist and participate in High Performance Work Teams
- Participate and coordinate A3
- Updating and maintain necessary department/area charts
- Provide premier customer service to suppliers/vendors.
- Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job, which includes, but is not limited to being able to lift / push / pull up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to use excel program and other computer programs such as MSS system maintenance proficiently
- Trouble shooting and problems solve within the scope of the job.
- Shipping lead duties include but are not limited to: Directing activities and duties, assist with scheduling, training employees, and writing/maintaining work instructions in Enovia.
- Must be able to perform all aspects of shipping, receiving, tugger, and warehousing including but not limited to counting weighing, packaging, labeling, loading, unloading, storing, organization or products
- Using material handling equipment, such as forklift, tugger, and hand trucks.
- Assist in directing and assigning of people within responsible areas.
- Assist in order selection, set-ups, job scheduling and record-keeping required by Management.
- Kanban and MRO ordering update production floor cards; MRO sheet updates
- Maintain MSS for item master and supplier updates as well as routing updates
- Maintain EPFEP system and cards for Kanban.
- Consignment reporting and ordering
- Order, track and reconcile differences and invoices for all purchased items (p-card)
Qualifications
Mimimum 1 to 3 years experience
Demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
A high level of engery, personal accountability and integrity
Work with little supervision and be a self starter.
Closing Statement
1st shift hours 7:30am-4:00pm with 1/2 unpaid lunch.
Office position with responsilibites in shipping and manufacturing setting.
