Brady offers a hybrid work option that allows for both personal flexibility and in person collaboration to deliver the greatest outcomes for our people and customers. This option is a mix of in the office and one or two offsite days which are pre-determined based on role and function.
What We Need
Our Production Associates are responsible for performing the setup and operation of various pieces of printing and engraving equipment, product finishing and inspection/packaging of goods in the manufacturing cells.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work in assigned manufacturing cells.
- Read, understand and follow work instructions on every order.
- Setup artwork as necessary using computer software.
- Efficient operation of assigned printing/engraving equipment.
- Operation of various finishing equipment to include but not limited to clicker presses, punches, cold laminators, grommet devices, stack cutters, etc.
- Verify product meets specifications as outlined in production work order.
- Package finished product in boxes/bags according to standard work instructions.
- Responsible for general housekeeping including operational waste removal.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as instructed.
- Adhere to Brady's Attendance, Safety & other Company policies.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to train others.
- Ability to read & follow written directions.
- Ability to perform quality checks and recording data.
- Flexibility in schedule to work overtime, evenings, & weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly & stand for 100% of shift.
- Ability to bend, twist, crawl, climb & reach to perform job duties.
- General computer proficiency.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
