Standard Schedule: Four 10 hour days, Friday-Monday 7AM- 5:30PM
Must be able to train in Philadelphia, PA for 6-9 weeks upon hire
Pay for the position is approximately $20.40 per hour, plus any applicable shift differentials.
What You'll Do:
Product Management Assistants perform inventory management in a highly regulated environment-from providing customer service to organizations ordering blood product through shipment of finished goods to area hospitals. You will have a strong attention to detail, a customer-service focus and the ability to treat both internal and external customers with compassion at all times.
As a Red Cross Team member, you will take care of your team members - show up for every shift and give 100% while you're there. Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion at all times

The duties are representative of the essential functions of the position. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Available to work overtime, other shifts, early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends. Requires standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time periods. Lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 70 pounds. May work in walk-in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time. Work under pressure and within time standards. Required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc. when there is exposure to blood and blood products and/or where work location requires.

The Details:
- Complete and prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.
- Pull and package blood and bulk plasma orders for shipping
- Inventory control, including the handling and storage of unprocessed units, as well as rotating stock
- Irradiation of blood products
- Completing invoices and receipt of lab samples
- Entry and verification of imported blood products

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
