Product Engineer

Position Description:

• Manage different aspects of top hat and platform program deliverables including planning, program control and build phases for owned projects.
• Develop roles/responsibilities for lead projects for team members.
• Ensure program deliverables are on track; working with cross functional teams to develop and execute recovery plans as required.
• Develop presentations to clearly communicate to management/team present status of deliverables, identification of issues, and recovery plans.
• Potential area(s) of responsibility include: Sourcing Process, Change Control/CNE Meeting, Timing, Cost, Prototype Planning, Tooling Kick-Off process, Program Content/PDL, Integrator deliverables compliance, Complexity PAT, Appearance Approval Forums, etc.
• Support the launch and prototype builds of upcoming Client Performance vehicles at local assembly plants
• Interface daily with other engineers, finance analysts, studio personnel, suppliers and management to ensure program deliverables are achieved and critical decisions are made efficiently.

Skills Required:

• Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.
• Ability to develop strong positive team relationships
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize to ensure appropriate program/management focus
• Self-starter with ability to deliver results and overcome obstacles

Experience Required:

• Familiarity with Client PD systems and processes: GPDS, WERS, AVBOM, FEDEBOM, FEDE, Global Integrator, etc. required

Experience Preferred:

• Experience in Design and Release highly desired

Education Required:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering preferred
