Job Summary/Description:
This position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Work on live remote productions, live control room productions and/or in-venue crews in the capacity of Producer.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Produce various aspects of the company's live events that are distributed on national, regional, and local linear broadcast outlets as well as a wide-array of OTT platforms
• Handle pre-production work for assigned broadcasts/webcasts/in-venue productions
• Serve as producer or director for NCAA Championship webcasts, on NCAA.com
• Consult with our Remote Production Staff, Operations Staff, Contractors, and Clients
• Primary point of contact for Replay, Graphics, and formatting of the telecast
• Work with production team to create, develop, and execute storylines for remote productions
• Review and provide regular feedback on Tupelo Honey-produced events
• Works in conjunction with production staff and team to provide creative input on more efficient approaches to projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• (5) Years broadcast industry experience
• Computer Skills - Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of studio graphics and replay software and hardware, including, but not limited to...Duet/Chyron, XPression, Dreamcatcher, EVS
• Linear and/or Non-Linear editing experience is a plus
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of sports, specifically football, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and other "Olympic" sports
• Familiarity with the sports media landscape
• Familiarity with television production procedures, specifically sports production
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
• Able to produce in both onsite and control room environments
• Able to react quickly and positively in a wide variety of production situations
• Able to manage multiple projects at the same time with little direct supervision
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends
• Able to provide and accept feedback without compromising creativity or quality
• Ability to work extended hours and travel as needed
• Ability to multi-task on live remote productions
• Ability to move/transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
• Strong sense of customer service
• Driving record in good standing
• Good organizational skills
