Job Description
Piedmont Aviation Component Services is looking for a qualified Process Flow Expeditor (MPG).
This is a First shift position.
A Process Flow Expeditor (MPG) will perform the following duties:
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates and status of parts throughout the facility. Manage twice daily expedite meetings, serving as a liaison between operations and sales/marketing.
- Provide timely information and support to crew chief/Manager, and Project Team
- Be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Have great organizational skills
- Issue regular expediting status reports as required.
- Review inspection reports for potential problems and further actions
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn and flexible regarding day to day responsibilities
- Skilled in oral and written communication
- Able to consistently follow standard operating procedures
- Data entry to update the associated records
- Be self-driven and motivated
Requirements
- Ability to interpret and follow repair instructions from OEM manuals.
- This job requires entry into industrial areas where machinery, hand tools, and chemicals are in use.
- The incumbent must abide by safety regulations required in these areas, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and use specialized equipment for long periods.
- Understanding of FAA regulations.
- Writing skills and accuracy are required for documentation.
- Ability to safely and properly operate Shop equipment and precise measuring equipment.
