The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Drafter creates, develops and recommends changes to electrical parts and functional assemblies utilizing appropriate CAD tool software. In addition, this role will support the creation of Printed Wiring Board (PWB) documentation, overseeing the drawing details that may be done by others, maintaining drawing status of all details and assemblies, maintaining cost and schedules for their assigned projects. As required, act as Drafting Checker and have the responsibility for quality and accuracy of medium complexity drawings generated by other Drafting personnel. Ability to complete additional basic electrical duties, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of Drafting experience
- Works under general direction with the ability to work independently; work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy
- 2-year Technical Degree, AAS Degree in Electrical or Drafting Technologies or apprentice program graduate or equivalent
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Moderate knowledge of the Manufacturing Processes, Engineering Design Techniques and Materials associated with Electronic Packaging
- Applied knowledge of IEEE Drafting Standards as well as a general understanding of ASME Drafting Standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Mentoring experience to less skilled individuals
- PWB Design experience in Placement, Route, and Documentation
Desired skills
Knowledge of Configuration Management
- IPC Certification for PWB Designer a plus
- Cadence, Mentor, Zuken and Altium for PWB placement and routing
- Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of Zuken CR-8000, Cadence, Mentor, Altium

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
