LEONCITO is a modern Mexican restaurant offering a regionally inspired menu that beautifully encapsulates the country’s essence, with a special emphasis on craft tequila, mezcal and artisanal cocktails.

Position Summary:
The Prep Cook is responsible for assisting in food preparation, ensuring that the kitchen has a steady supply of prepped ingredients. This includes washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning various foods to support chefs and cooks in meal production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the quality of food items.
- Assisting kitchen with all food preparation
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately
- Monitor and check daily food logs.
- Labels and stores all product following Dept. of Health and company standards.
- Required to check production lists and assignments.
- Stocks station with prescribed supplies.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years experience in a high-volume kitchen.
- Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
We are hiring for AM, PM and weekend shifts!
Job Type: Part-time
