JOB SUMMARY
Operate machines such as blending encapsulation, stick pack, tub fill and bottling. Continuously look for ways to improve performance of work area. Performs quality checks and ensures that all products maintain the highest quality standards. Must comply with all cGMP’s (current Good Manufacturing Practices), which include wearing hairnets, beard nets, gloves, hearing protection, smocks, dust masks, etc.
Hours: 4:15 pm - 2:30 am, Monday - Thursday, some Fridays
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all SOPs to perform job.
- Identify and help solve problems to improve performance.
- Documenting weights, batch numbers, lot numbers, and quality checks.
- Cleans machinery, room, and all auxiliary machinery during full, partial, and back-to-back cleanups.
- Adherence to all cGMP’s.
- Be able to weigh in Grams and Kilograms and read scales, use a calculator, and perform simple calculations for reconciliation of materials.
- Carry out administrative tasks including ensuring paperwork is complete and correct.
- Be able to clean floors, walls, tables, and always keep manufacturing area tidy and clean.
- Perform simple MRP transactions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school Diploma or GED preferred
- Powders production experience preferred, but not necessary
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Perform simple mathematics.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, move, and stand for long periods of time.
