Polysomnographer - Providence Medical Foundation, Sleep Laboratory in Santa Rosa, CA.
$3,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Under the supervision of the Manager, this position works independently and conducts polysomnographic testing. The PSGT safely operates sophisticated medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology, explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices. Key responsibilities include monitoring polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep/wake data and other physiological events.
Required qualifications:
- Upon hire: California Polysom Technologist License
- Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists Or
- Upon hire: National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Polysomnography.
- Upon hire: Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
