Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Plumbing/Sales Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and sales, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers. The Plumbing/Sales Technician will primarily be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support related to plumbing products and services. This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can effectively troubleshoot plumbing issues and generate sales leads.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers, answering questions, and providing recommendations on plumbing products and services.

2. Assess customer plumbing needs and provide accurate estimates for repairs, installations, and replacements.

3. Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, including drain cleaning, water heater repairs, pipe leaks, clogs, and other related problems.

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, industry trends, and plumbing codes to provide accurate information to customers.

6. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential leads and convert them into sales opportunities.

7. Prepare and present sales proposals to customers, demonstrating the benefits and value of plumbing products and services.

8. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.

9. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment, including inventory management and restocking.

10. Stay updated with the latest plumbing technologies, tools, and techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in plumbing or sales are desirable.

2. Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar sales-related role.

3. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.

4. Excellent sales and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical information to customers.

6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

7. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

9. Physical ability to perform plumbing tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and working in confined spaces.

10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on customer needs.
