Planner/Processor

I am looking for someone that is hungry for a permanent position. This would mean an immediate transition out of the contractor role if identified as capable of learning and performing this job.
Additional info:
Ideal candidate is detail oriented, preferable with planning / processing / or timeline experience. Manufacturing experience is also a plus.

50 hr work schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-4:30 PM.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain unit-based timelines & ensure alignment with PM high level/Milestone timing
• update unit-based timelines
• material status reviews
• Attend and support weekly critical path preparation meetings
• Escalate critical path issues to critical path tracking documentation
• Escalate timing concerns to project management
• Maintain open issue deck for PM team.
• Support CFT and Whiteboard meetings
• Review and process design releases for assigned projects
• Ensure hot releases are processed as first priority.
• Review and process MRF and Unipoint releases
• Review kit matrix and timelines for timing and sourcing information for each unit.
• Contact PM, master scheduler, or planning manager as necessary to resolve timing/sourcing concerns
• Use Manuf. strategy and or review releases w/ purchasing for low-cost country sourcing direction
• Perform inventory scrub on all releases
• Enter sourcing information on BOMs
• Run detail, assembly, and controls prints for machine shop and manufacturing team.
• Ensure machine shop completes all necessary sourcing info.
• Ensure all BOM items have sourcing location
• Send Processing completion email notification
• Provide copies of Release memo and BOM to all departments based on the defined sourcing.
• Compile daily purchasing handoff log and meet with purchasing rep. for handoff.

Prerequisites:

Educational: High School Diploma required. Two-year degree preferred.

Experience: Timeline or material routing/processing experience in an automotive environment.
Machine shop or manufacturing build experience a Plus.

Skills: Detail Oriented with good organizational skills.
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excel: pivot tables, filtering, sorting
