Hours: Permanent Position, 40 to 50 hours a week
Location: Fab Shop office 622 Commerce, Clute, Texas
Wage: $12 to $36 depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read and understand pipe isometric drawings.
- Must be able to read and understand pipe specs.
- Basic AutoCAD a plus
- Vessel layout a plus (Compress)
- Acorn piping system a plus
- Basic knowledge of word and excel.
Job Description
- Draw spools from client isometrics and piece mark isometric drawings.
- Look up piping spec and determine if material on drawing is per spec.
- Look up support details and determine if support on drawing can be installed as shown.
- Write up questions on discrepancies between piping isometrics and the piping specs or support details on the drawings.
- Check spool drawings for fabrication back to piping isometrics.
