About the Position
A Pick and Packer for Small Items is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of a warehouse. The duties may include receiving shipments, inspecting them for damage or discrepancies, logging the packages into the system, preparing outgoing shipments, and ensuring that all items are properly labeled and packaged for shipping. They may also be responsible for maintaining inventory records, communicating with other departments or vendors, and coordinating with carriers or freight forwarders to ensure that shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.

Your main responsibilities

• Organize goods for transportation while recording item details, shipping options, and relevant logistical information;

• Logging incoming shipments into the system and updating inventory records;

• Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards;

• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas;

• Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors;

• Receives and counts stock items, and records data manually or using a computer;

• Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment;

• Pick and pack (check labels before shipping to the customer, ensuring the product is correct);

• Performs other related duties as assigned by manager;

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or distribution center to ensure efficient operations.
