Job Description
Our partner is currently accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in the Science Department as a Physics teacher beginning in August of 2023 in Phoenix, AZ.
Possible courses, programs, and activities include:
- College preparatory physics, chemistry, and mathematics courses
- Coaching or moderating teams, clubs, or other extracurricular activities
- Leading retreats, immersion and service trips, and other formation experiences for students
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physics, engineering, physical science, math, science education, or related fields, with preference given to candidates who have graduate degrees in one or more of those disciplines
- Special consideration given to candidates who have the credentials to teach dual enrollment college credit and/or AP-level courses
- Experience with and desire to engage in extracurricular activities such as coaching or moderating clubs and activities is highly desirable
