Chiro One Wellness Centers is a high-growth, healthcare organization that provides non-invasive, drug-free chiropractic care to help thousands of patients live happier, healthier lives. With over 150 clinics across 12+ states and growing, we are seeking a performance-driven, highly engaged Physician Referral Representative to join our team in the Phoenix market.

Chiro One Wellness Centers is a chiropractic group specializing in providing conservative pain treatment and therapies for acute and chronic pain patients. The Physician Referral Representative is responsible for developing, delivering, and tracking strategies and tactics to drive Physician Referrals into Chiro One clinics. This position supports clinics in the Phoenix market. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Referrals, the Physician Referral Representative will connect with physicians, nurses, and referral coordinators to build referral relationships and generate new patient growth. This position requires excellent relationship building, communication, and presentation skills to demonstrate how Chiro One’s chiropractic services fit into medical professionals' patient offerings.

This role is responsible for meeting monthly new patient acquisition targets within the designated Chiro One clinic area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to office visits with targeted medical professionals, face-to-face provider meetings, and conducting large group workshops. This role achieves new patient targets by spending 80%-90% of their workday infield prospecting and securing new referral relationships with medical providers. This team member will also work closely with the chiropractic clinic directors in their assigned clinic area to ensure excellent customer service and strong provider-to-provider communication related to referred patients.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Creates and arranges appointments with doctors, referral coordinators, practice administrators, hospital medical teams, etc. which may include pre-arranged meetings or regular 'cold' calling specifically to increase new patient volume
  2. Coordinates all physician marketing activates, which may include physician breakfast, lunch or dinner meetings, seminar presentations and hospital staff meetings
  3. Educates medical providers, practice staff and nurses on Chiro One’s treatments and services. These education sessions may take place in medical settings during the day but may also be conducted in the evenings or on weekends
  4. Meets with referring doctors to discuss patient care, referrals, new treatments and to thank them for existing referrals
  5. Reengage past referring doctors or practices to establish a referral relationship
  6. Creates and executes physician facing email and call campaigns based on self-obtained and purchased lead lists
  7. Keeps detailed records of all activities and results in CRM software and coordinates tracking Physician Referrals along with discussing regular feedback to clinic directors regarding their Physician Referrals
  8. Develops strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and engage with contacts in the medical and healthcare sector
  9. Maintains strong knowledge of competition and critical differentiators of Chiro One’s treatment offerings

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or equivalent
  2. Minimum of three years of experience in outside sales, business development, or as a physician liaison. Proven track record of sales effectiveness and relationship building
  3. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  4. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  5. Experience with CRM and email marketing software
  6. Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  7. Reliable method of transportation to commute to locations
  8. Ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
  9. Rapid retention of new information and ability to apply knowledge to projects and analyses

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Five years of strong sales and business development experience.
  2. Established professional network of physicians and industry leaders in assigned region.
  3. Project management experience with proven ability to take projects from inception to completion.
