Required Credential(s):
• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s):
• BC in Pediatric
• BE/BC in Neonatology
Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

- There are five Neonatologists in the practice
- 6-bed SCN at Ascension Providence Hospital, Novi Campus
- 15-bed NICU at Ascension Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus
Responsibilities:
- Daily average census of eight and two inpatients between Southfield Campus and Novi Campus, respectively
- Position is 100% clinical; daily rounds, attendance at deliveries, surgeries (insertion of umbilical arterial catheter/umbilical vein catheter and occasional chest tube insertion) and oversight for care of babies in the unit
