ID: 43168299 Shift: 24Hour 24 hour in house call coverage and 24 hour call coverage to include 4 hours gratis Description: Mercy Medical Center is looking for a Locum OB/GYN for Urgent needs.1st Call forLaborist must be available and onsite 24/7 for deliveries and Family PracticeResident supervision2nd Call forLaborist must be on call as back-up to Laborist/Ob-Gyn, available with maximumresponse time (arrival at hospital) of 15 minutes of notificationBid Due Date: Mar 13 @ 3:00pm ESTDates of Coverage:ASAP start, ongoing24 hour shift (7a-7a)Details:5-7, 24-hour shifts per month, alternating as 1st and 2nd laborist.(i.e., Day 1-laborist, Day 2-back up, Day 3-laborist. and so on)Shift type - 24 hour in house coverage. Provider must remain on site for the full 24-hour shift. A sleep room is provided.Setting - Inpatient and ATO only, no clinic.Duties - Provide 24-hour onsite coverage of OB/GYN hospitalist service, including precept of Family Practice residents.Required Procedures - General OB/GYN management and procedures, including C-sections.Types of Cases - Self explanatory.Schedule -24-hour shift, a provider can cover 7a-7p or 7p-7a.Provider must be ABOG Board Certified or Board Eligible.Specialty - OB/GYN HospitalistResidency requirements/Fellowship - Successful completion of ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency. At least 3 years of practicing OB/GYN post-residency.PPD - Provider must have documentation of annual TB screening and FULL vaccination against COVID-19 prior to assignment start.Admissions per day - average of 5 inpatient deliveries per day and 497 C-Sections in FY21Support Staff - Family Practice Residents - There are no NP/PAs or midwives to support the laborists. Mercy Redding does not have midwives on their APP staff.EMR - Cerner Care BCredentialing Timeframe - 30-45 days or longer.** MSO Requires the application to be completed within 3 days of being confirmed despite the start date!! **Additional Details:1st laborist - hourly rate for 24-hour period due to the onsite requirement for the entire shift.2nd laborist (backup call) - 24-hour call coverage with 4 hours gratis.1st call for laborist - must be available and onsite 24/7 for deliveries and family practice resident supervision.2nd call for laborist - must be on call as back up to Laborist/OB/GYN, available with maximum response time (arrival at hospital) of 15 minutes of notification.The schedule is arranged so that providers can alternate 1st call and 2nd call days.Meaning, OB/GYN is onsite 1st call on Monday, 2nd call (backup) on Tuesdays, onsite 1st call on Wednesday, and so on.This means that a LT provider could cover several consecutive days, alternating between 1st call and 2nd call, so they have time to rest between 1st call (onsite) shifts.Locum tenens, courtesy, or per diem status does not meet the "active" staff requirement for temp privileges at our hospital. Presentation submission requirements includes the information that must be sent over in the presentation packet to have your provider presentation reviewed and presented to the client. Strict adherence to these guidelines will allow for the fastest path to getting your providers accepted. To process the best presentations, Account Coordinators and Account Managers will kickback presentations that do not include the information below (if it has not been discussed already). If you are unable to include something in the presentation, detail why and the plan to get it sent over. Account Managers and Account Coordinators will take this into account as they review the presentation, though they still reserve the right to redirect it back to the vendor if they deem it necessary. Trio Submission requirements- the following must be updated in Trio Full legal name (first, middle, last) Suffix for provider (MD, DO, PA, NP, CRNA) NPI number must be entered in Trio Provider email and best phone number (this pulls to the cover page for Client) Best time to contact (this pulls to the cover page for the Client) Years of experience must be updated in Trio Years of locums experience is optional License State where job is located...Copy of state licenseand the status. If provider s license in any other status besides active speak to Account Manager before presenting. Other Active State License(s)- only list if not in good standing and provide explanation. Certification (select multiple that apply; this pulls to the cover page for the Client) Availability Section what is the providers ongoing availability (this pulls to the cover page for Client) Answer the pertinent questions: Has the provider s professional license or certification been investigated or suspended? (pulls to the cover page for the Client) Has the provider been convicted of, or charged with, a crime other than a minor traffic violation?
