Php Developer Midlevel - Henderson, Nv

Roberts Communications Network, LLC (“RCN”) is an established, yet rapidly expanding communications service provider based in Henderson, NV. RCN provides 24 x 7 television programming to various media distribution platforms within the USA, Latin America, and other regions across the globe. We have recently expanded our operations with the construction of a new, state of the art, 70,000 Sq. Ft broadcast facility. We are looking to add a talented PHP Developer to our growing Software Engineering team.

This is an in-office position with the potential to grow into a hybrid role following a successful integration into the Software Engineering team. As this role is based out of our Henderson, NV office, candidates must be able to relocate or commute to the Las Vegas, NV metropolitan area.

Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 Annually

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Discover and fix programming bugs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Development experience with programming languages
• Experience with PHP Development.
• Experience with Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of Version Control

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with Slack, Bitbucket, Jira & Confluence.
• Experience with React
• Experience with Laravel

Education, Experience & Certification:

• Ability to pass a background check.
• 2 + Years of professional experience working in Software Development.
