Job Description
Rx Alternatives, an independent compounding pharmacy and is in need of a Pharmacy Technician. Duties will include being on the phone answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls to patients about prescriptions being sent in from providers. This person could also be asked to be trained in the area of compounding. Experience with processing prescriptions and adjudicating claims is helpful and any experience in compounding would be a bonus.
We are looking for a multi-tasking individual who is eager to learn and customer service driven when speaking with patients on the phone.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
* Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
* Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
* Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
*Skills*
* Previous experience in a customer support role
* Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
* Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
* Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
* High school degree
* Registered technician with the board of pharmacy
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
