Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to work under the supervision of a pharmacist to dispense prescription and over the counter medications. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
· Maintain medication inventory, storage, and security as per regulatory requirements throughout the organization.
· Accurately prepares and maintains required documentation logs, work records, and safety checks.
· Interact in person and by phone with hospital personnel.
· Perform basic billing functions.
· Accurately performs required calculations.
· Accurately and safely compounds and labels medications and parenteral admixtures.
· Accurately packages and prepares medications for dispensing as assigned.
· Accurately transports medications and other pharmacy supplies in a timely manner to appropriate areas.
What qualifications you will need:- Licensed Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, or State Registration Pharmacy Technician
