- Job Summary and Qualifications POSITION SUMMARY: The Pharmacist Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the pharmacy services as assigned.
- During their shift duties are to include staffing, overview of the technical staff, maintenance of the pharmacy standard of practice and adherence to the policies and procedures of the department.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reviews and interprets physician medication orders ensuring appropriate therapy.
- Ensures that the compounding and dispensing of all medications is accurate and timely.
- Actively participates in the pharmaceutical care of the patient to promote a positive outcome.
- Has responsibility for oversight of staff assigned to pharmacy.
- Responsibility of licensure and registration of each individual pharmacy.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory operational standards REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Texas.
- We have a Level II trauma designation.
- This facility has 300+ patient beds.
