Position Summary:
Responsible for managing all new Pharmacy account activity for Managed Care Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and publish schedules associated with all incoming accounts and transfer accounts.
  • Requires professional communication with Sales Staff, Account Managers, Incoming Pharmacy Benefit Management company (PBM), and Outgoing PBM; Includes intense schedule planning and follow up.
  • Requires occasional to frequent travel to meet with high profile accounts during critical implementations.
  • Must possess advanced Microsoft Office skills to utilize technology for data analysis.
  • Works with Account Management team to ensure client implementations are on-track for all deliverables.
  • Works independently to define project goals and objectives.
  • Delivers program design and implementation plan to PBM manager for approval and to account for final approval.
  • Maintains daily communication with all outside vendor partner groups in order to identify and resolve customer service issues proactively.
  • Monitors financial reports such as e--invoice and e-billing to validate accuracy and project financial issues.
  • Responsible for the daily assignments and workloads of all clinical PBM Assistants.
  • Works with PBM companies to ensure client implementations are on-track for all deliverables.
  • Manages schedule and delivery of internal department tasks and responsibilities to ensure client implementations are on-track for all deliverables.
  • Simultaneously manages multiple schedules for multiple account implementations to ensure client implementations are on-track for all deliverables.
  • Monitors account performance through data analytics.
  • Occasional to frequent travel required to meet with high profile accounts during critical implementations.
  • Automobile ownership is required.
  • Must maintain credit record that enables eligibility for a credit card.
  • Works with management to set mutually beneficial annual goals and strategize to decrease utilization of expensive pharmaceuticals, multiple drug classes, and narcotics to meet/exceed goals and to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Works with all internal areas to support large national account initiatives and deliverables.
  • Works with all internal areas to resolve and track client service issues and solve problems.
  • Serves as one point of contact for issue resolution and problem solving.
  • Ensures management is aware of any ongoing issues.


Required:
  • Bachelor's degree; equivalent experience considered.
  • Must have minimum 2 years workers' compensation experience with knowledge of managed care products and PBM products in addition to 3 years account management or operations management experience.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills, advanced planning and coordination skills, high intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), presentation skills, and analytical skills.

Desired:
  • 5 or more years of experience in worker's compensation PBM and managed care environment preferred.
  • Some variation of experience may compensate for experience in all categories.
  • Experience with Project Management desirable.
  • High intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
