The Pharmacy Practice Residency Program is designed to provide experience & training in hospital pharmacy practice at Covenant Medical Center. Under the primary direction and supervision of the Residency Program Director, and general direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the hospital pharmacy resident is an integral member of the health care team, responds to all drug-related needs of patients, nursing staff, medical staff and other health care professionals at Covenant Medical Center by performing or overseeing those professional activities of pharmaceutical care, drug compounding, distribution and provision in his/her assigned area. These activities are performed within the context of established policies, procedures and techniques of Covenant Medical Center, the CMC Pharmacy Department, and federal and state standards and statutes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Texas Pharmacist Intern License upon hire, Or
  • Texas Pharmacist Student Trainee License upon hire, Or
  • Texas Pharmacist Extended Intern License upon hire, Or
  • Texas Pharmacist Registered upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PharmD
