As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Petroleum Dispatcher.

Job Summary:

As a Petroleum Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the logistics of petroleum product deliveries. You will be responsible for efficiently dispatching trucks to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a deep commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Dispatch trucks to deliver petroleum products to designated locations in a timely manner.

2. Receive and process incoming delivery requests from customers, ensuring accurate and complete information.

3. Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption and travel time.

4. Communicate with drivers to provide clear instructions, address concerns, and monitor progress.

5. Monitor delivery schedules and adjust as needed to accommodate changes in customer requirements or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Coordinate with customers to ensure smooth delivery operations and resolve any issues or complaints that may arise.

7. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, locations, and delivery times.

8. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

9. Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall performance and customer satisfaction.

10. Provide support and guidance to drivers in case of emergencies or incidents, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

11. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to petroleum transportation and delivery.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field is a plus.

2. Proven experience in dispatching or logistics, preferably in the petroleum or fuel delivery industry.

3. Strong knowledge of tank wagon and/or transport operations, including loading, unloading, and safety protocols.

4. Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

5. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and team members.

6. Proficient in using dispatching software, GPS systems, and other relevant tools.

7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions under pressure.

9. Familiarity with DOT regulations and industry compliance standards.

10. Commitment to safety and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

11. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
