Personal Chef With A Focus On Nutrition

Role Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Personal Chef passionate about nutrition to prepare delicious, healthy lunches and dinners for our team of approximately 10. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the power of food in boosting energy and overall health. We're looking for meals that are as satisfying to the palate as they are beneficial to our well-being.

In this role, you will have full responsibility for the kitchen's operation, from grocery shopping and cooking to serving meals, cleaning and organizing. You’ll cook out of both our office kitchen and a residential kitchen.

Responsibilities:

- Create daily lunches and dinners focused On Nutritional value to enhance team energy and health.

- Incorporate a wide range of tasty, healthy ingredients to keep meals varied.

- Plate and serve meals to the team.

- Order food and supplies, ensuring ingredients are high quality and fresh.

- Adapt menus to meet various dietary needs and preferences.

- Keep abreast of the latest in nutrition science to benefit meal planning.

- Maintain cleanliness in the cooking area and ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are properly stored.

- Gather and act on feedback from the team to continuously improve the meal experience.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, with a strong portfolio of nutritious and diverse menus.

- Knowledge and passion in current nutrition science.

- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English and Spanish.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage meal planning and preparation for the week efficiently.

- Food safety training or certification.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation or ability to arrive to work in a timely manner.

- Ideally possess own utensils for cooking (knives, other related equipment that is preferred to be utilized for effective cooking).

- Local within commuting distance to San Juan, Puerto Rico

Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
